Privacy Policy

Fitbit Air Export ("the app") is a script you run on your own computer. This policy covers the app and the Google Cloud projects its author runs it under.
What data the app accesses
With your permission, through Google's OAuth sign-in, the app reads your own data from the Google Health API, read-only: sleep sessions and stages; activity (steps, distance, floors, active and active-zone minutes, calories); and health metrics (heart rate, resting heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen, respiratory rate).
How the data is used
- The app writes the data to files in a folder on your own computer, for your own records and journaling. That is its only use.
- The app has no server. The author never receives, sees, stores, or collects your data.
- Your data is not sold, shared, transferred to anyone, used for advertising, or used to train AI or machine-learning models.
- Your sign-in token is stored only on your computer, in
~/.google-health/.
Google API Services User Data Policy
The app's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Removing access and data
- Revoke the app's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Delete the files the app wrote, and the
~/.google-health/folder, to remove everything it stored.
